Portable power for your studio flashes! Only £395 inc VAT
We've all wished we could take our studio lights out into the great outdoors, and there are some great solutions to doing just that, like the Elinchrom Ranger and Ranger Quadra packs. But what if your budget doesn't stretch to a dedicated battery system? Well you could always hire, but often that just isn't convenient.
What about petrol generators? Well good ones are more expensive than battery flash packs and cheap ones can damage your flash units from the inside out.
Well now there's an answer.
Innovatronix has created the Explorer XT SE, a battery inverter pack specially built for multivoltage flash equipment.
Tested with Elinchrom BXRI 250 and 500 units as well as Profoto Compact 600R and Hensel Integra Pro Plus 500 and tested with Elinchrom D-Lite it. Take a look at the video below for more details...
The technically superior Explorer XT, rated at 350 watts** continuous power, 1200watts peak power and recommended up to 2400ws, is designed as a portable power source for most flash and power pack units. Just like the Explorer 1200, the Explorer XT makes your studio lights mobile and portable. With the new Explorer XT, it reduces recycling time for flash units over half, providing more power and better performance compared to the previous model. (**Now increased at 350watts)
Equipped with two (2) 12V, 7Ah sealed lead acid batteries, the Explorer XT is designed to be a better and more reliable portable power supply solution. With loads of up to 2400ws which the Explorer XT can manageably handle, the Explorer XT is a total improvement from the Explorer 1200! More digital flash/power packs are expected to be compatible due to its increased power rating.
A pioneer in plug and play portable power solution - it has an auto volt-charging feature which accepts 100-240V. It also has a 14V car battery charging where an internal circuit converts the 12V/14V source to a 24V. It also has an auxiliary battery port, allowing the user to connect another battery in case the stored power is not sufficient for an all-day photo shoot. Battery power level indicators with beeper and charging indicators come in handy to monitor the user's power consumption and charging status making the Explorer XT a very user-friendly power supply.
